How long can I claim for if I've become unemployed?

If you claim under your unemployment cover, we’ll pay you for up to 12 months, or stop making payments to you at the end date of your plan, or if you die (whichever is sooner). If you get a new job or become self employed your payments will stop. We’ll pay up to 36 months of unemployment cover in total where you’ve made several claims. If you claim the maximum 36 months of unemployment cover, this cover will end and we’ll reduce the premium you pay to reflect this.
