Do I have to microchip my dog for it to be covered by pet insurance?

No, your dog doesn't need to be microchipped to be insured by LV=.

However microchipping will (or has, depending on where you live) become compulsory across the UK.

We recommend that all puppy and dog owners get their pet microchipped. You're not covered should you take your dog abroad and they don't have a microchip.
