I haven't received my breakdown cover email confirmation, what should I do?

If you're due to travel and haven't received confirmation don't worry. You can still call us for assistance  on our 24hr breakdown lines. In the UK on 0800 929 111 or 01484 435806 from a mobile, pay phone or a motorway emergency phone (for Text Phone dial 18001 first).

 If you have European cover and are abroad call us on +44 (0)1484 435 806 (for Text Phone dial +44 151 494 1260). Just make a note of the numbers before you travel.

If you added breakdown cover as an optional extra when you bought your LV= car insurance policy and chose to receive your documents by email, they should be with you within three hours (although occasionally, they may take a little longer). You may need to check your email junk or spam folders. If for any reason your email is returned to us, we'll automatically send your documents to you by post instead.

If you chose to receive your documents by post, they'll arrive in five to seven days. If you haven't received your documents within seven days, please call us on 0800 633 5211 to request new documents.

If you've only bought breakdown cover from us (perhaps your car is insured with another company?); your documents will be sent by post and will arrive in five to seven working days. If you haven't received your documents within seven working days, please call us on 0800 756 8700 to request new documents.
